Stamford University Bangladesh launches admission fair for Summer 2026


Stamford University Bangladesh launched its Admission Fair Summer 2026 on Tuesday, offering enrolment opportunities across 29 undergraduate and postgraduate programmes under five faculties.

Professor Dr Farahnaaz Feroz, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Stamford University Bangladesh, inaugurated the fair on 14 July, 2026.

Other attendees included Professor Dr Sharif Nafe As-Saber, Vice-Chancellor; Professor Dr Md Ziaul Hasan, Treasurer; Professor Dr Mrityunjoy Acharjee, Proctor; and Muhammad Abdul Matin, Registrar.

Professor Dr Ahmad Kamruzzaman Majumder, Convener of the Admission Fair and Dean of the Faculty of Science; Mohammad Motaher Hossain, Director of the Finance Department; Prodeepto Mobarook, Head of the Public Relations Division; and Md Ashik Mahmud, Acting Head of the Admission Department, were also present.

Deans, department chairmen, officials and employees of the university attended the inauguration.

Prospective students may receive a waiver of up to 50% on admission fees and a 10% tuition-fee waiver for the first semester, according to the university’s official admission announcement. The university said admission forms would be available free of charge during the fair.

The programmes cover architecture, engineering, computer science, environmental science, microbiology, pharmacy, law, business administration, English, economics, journalism and media studies, film and media, and public administration.

The university also said it was introducing programmes in Theatre Studies, Applied Nutrition and Food Technology, and Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology following approval from the University Grants Commission.

A Master of Addiction and Rehabilitation Studies programme is also being introduced under the Stamford Institute on Addiction and Rehabilitation.

The university is additionally enrolling students in Japanese and Russian language courses and an IELTS preparation course.

Stamford University said eligible students could receive scholarships of up to 100% based on their Secondary School Certificate and Higher Secondary Certificate examination results.

Applications may be submitted at the university’s admission office at 51 Siddheswari Road, Ramna, Dhaka, or through its official website.
