DU UG 2026: First CSAS seat allocation list to be released today; check key details here

The University of Delhi (DU) will announce the first round of seat allocation for undergraduate admissions under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2026 today, July 16, at 5 pm. Candidates who registered for DU UG admissions based on their CUET UG 2026 scores will be able to check their allotment status by logging in to the official CSAS portal.

Alongside the first allocation list, colleges are also expected to release their programme-wise allocation trends and cut-offs, indicating the CUET scores at which admissions have been offered across courses and colleges.

Candidates allotted a seat in the first round must accept the allocated seat between July 16 (5 pm) and July 18 (11.59 pm) through the CSAS portal. Following this, colleges will verify and approve applications online from July 16 to July 20 (4.59 pm). Students whose applications are approved will have to complete the online fee payment by July 21 (11.59 pm) to confirm their admission. The 2026–27 undergraduate academic session at Delhi University is scheduled to begin on July 28.

How to check DU UG CSAS Round 1 allotment

  1. Log in to the CSAS portal using the CUET application number and password.

  2. Click on the Round 1 Seat Allocation link.

  3. View the allotted college and programme.

  4. Download the allotment letter and proceed with seat acceptance, if satisfied.

Required Documents

Candidates should keep all essential documents ready before the verification process to avoid delays in admission. These include the CUET UG 2026 scorecard, Class X and Class XII marksheets and certificates, a category/EWS/PwBD certificate (if applicable), a valid government-issued photo ID, recent passport-size photographs, and a migration or transfer certificate, wherever applicable. Originals, along with photocopies, may be required by the allotted college during the admission process.

Students who are satisfied with their allotted seat should accept the allocation within the stipulated deadline and complete the admission formalities. Those seeking a better preference in subsequent counselling rounds will have an opportunity to participate according to the CSAS admission schedule announced by the university.
