UoH B.Optometry admissions 2026 will be conducted based on NEET UG 2026 merit list.
The University of Hyderabad (UoH) has started accepting online applications for admission to its 5-year Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optometry) course for the academic year 2026–27. The programme is designed for candidates interested in pursuing higher education and professional training in the field of optometry and eye care.
UoH B.Optometry admissions 2026 will be conducted based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2026 merit list. Candidates who have appeared for NEET UG 2026 and fulfil the eligibility requirements can submit their applications online.
The University of Hyderabad has announced 30 seats for admission. Out of the total intake, 12 seats are allocated for the general category, 8 for OBC, 5 for SC, 2 for ST, and 3 for EWS. The seat matrix also includes provisions for Persons with Disabilities (PH) and Defence Personnel (DP) categories, as per the university’s reservation policy.
The deadline to apply for admission is August 7, 2026. The merit list will be prepared separately for each programme.

After completing the application fee payment, candidates will receive a unique Form Number (for example, UOHUG99999999). Applicants must download and keep a printed copy of the submitted application form for future reference. Applications without a valid Form Number will not be considered for the admission process.
