Gurgaon: In a significant initiative to empower students with informed higher education choices, Delhi Public School, Sector 45, Gurgaon successfully hosted Spotlight 2026, one of the largest school-level university fairs, on August 4, 2026. Bringing together 54 leading universities from India and around the world on a single platform, the fair marked a significant milestone in building stronger connections between schools and the global higher education ecosystem, reinforcing the growing importance of early exposure to international academic opportunities.
The fair provided students and parents with direct access to university admission representatives, enabling meaningful interactions around academic programmes, admission requirements, scholarships, career opportunities, and emerging global education trends.
The event witnessed participation from prestigious Indian and International institutions, including the University of Birmingham, King’s College London, Tokyo International University, The University of Hong Kong, University of San Diego, University of Manchester, Monash University, Melbourne; Ashoka University, O.P. Jindal Global University, BITS Pilani Dubai, Bennett University, Bocconi University (Italy), University College Dublin, and the University of Toronto, among many others.
A defining highlight of the initiative was its scale and vision. By bringing together over 50 leading universities on a single platform exclusively for students and parents, DPS Sector 45 created one of the region’s most comprehensive school-level higher education engagement platforms. The fair reflected the school’s commitment to equipping students with the knowledge, exposure, and guidance required to make informed academic and career decisions in an increasingly interconnected global education landscape.
