MUJ has launched its new Bachelor of Pharmacy programme after PCI approval, combining theoretical learning, laboratory training, research and industry exposure

Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) has launched its Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) programme under the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences after receiving approval from the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The admissions for the inaugural 2026–27 academic sessions are open for the eligible applicants.

The introduction of the B.Pharm. programme marks an expansion of its professional education offering in the healthcare domain. The programme is designed to equip students with scientific knowledge, practical skills, research aptitude, and ethical values to meet the evolving necessities of the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.

The programme has been launched after the approval of the apex statutory body for pharmacy education in India. The course will include theoretical learning, laboratory training, industry exposure and research-oriented learning.

Advanced infrastructure to support learning

The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at MUJ will provide students with access to the advanced labs, smart classrooms, seminar halls and modern research facilities and the University’s vibrant academic ecosystem.

The programme will also continue to emphasize innovation, interdisciplinary learning, industry engagement and holistic student development. The elements are designed to promote the development of students’ practical and research-based skills throughout the course.

Drawing on the Manipal group’s legacy of more than 70 years in healthcare, education and research, the B.Pharm programme aims to prepare future-ready professionals for opportunities across the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.

Programme targets various career opportunities

Students will be prepared for careers in pharmaceutical manufacture, quality assurance, drug development, clinical research, hospital pharmacy, regulatory affairs, public health and healthcare innovation. The programme also aims to support opportunities in regulatory organisation, academic and entrepreneurship.
