University of Delhi begins BTech admission process for 2026-27; candidates can apply online using JEE Main 2026 credentials
The University of Delhi (DU) has opened the registration process for the B.Tech admission 2026-27 on the official website of UoD at engineering.uod.ac.in. To register, candidates need to enter the login credentials, i.e., login ID/JEE application number and password. The last date to register is June 15, 2026.
Admission to BTech courses at the University of Delhi is offered on the basis of candidates’ performance in JEE (Main) 2026, with seat allocation carried out using the All India Common Rank List (CRL).
The registration-cum-allocation fee for the counselling process is non-refundable and varies by category. Candidates belonging to the UR, OBC-NCL and EWS categories are required to pay Rs 1,500, while applicants from the SC, ST and PwBD categories must pay Rs 1,200 to complete their registration and participate in the seat allocation process.

DU B.Tech Admission 2026: Steps to register
To register for the DU B.Tech admission 2026-27, candidates can follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official website of UOD at engineering.uod.ac.in
- On the homepage, if the candidate is new then they can choose ‘New Registration’ and those who have already registered can choose ‘Existing Users.’
- Registered applicants must enter the details, JEE application number and password
- Fill out the form, make the payment, upload all the documents and then submit
- Download the application form and take a printout for further reference
DU B.Tech Admission 2026: Important Instruction
As per the official website, the important guidelines while filling out the form are:
- Begin the application process by registering with your JEE (Main) 2026 application number
- Ensure that the name and date of birth exactly match the details submitted in the JEE (Main) 2026 application form
- Use a valid and active email address during registration, as the One-Time Password (OTP) required for verification will be sent to the registered email ID
- After completing the registration successfully, log in through the candidate portal to fill out and submit the application form
- Applicants are recommended to use the latest version of the Google chrome browser for a smooth application experience

DU B.Tech Admission 2026: Required documents
Candidates are required to keep scanned copies of several documents ready while completing the application process. These include a recent passport-size photograph, signature, educational certificates and relevant experience or category certificates.
