Among the Top Ten state ranks, students secured 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 10th ranks, along with another 32 students securing excellent ranks in the Botany PG Entrance examination
KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 10, 2026: Padala Thirupathi, Convener of the Free Online Coaching Programme for PG Entrance Botany, was felicitated grandly under the aegis of the Telangana Government Degree College Gazetted Teachers Association (TGCGTA), under the leadership of its State President Kadaaru Surender Reddy, at SRR Government Arts and Science College, Karimnagar, on Monday.
The felicitation was organised in recognition of the remarkable results achieved by students who participated in the free online coaching programme conducted for the PG Entrance examination in Botany. The PG Entrance examination was conducted by Kakatiya University for admission to various postgraduate programmes in universities across Telangana, and the results were recently announced.
Under the banner of TGCGTA, a 65-day free online coaching programme in Botany was conducted continuously under the coordination of Padala Thirupathi, with the active participation of Botany faculty members and lecturers from various government degree colleges. The programme produced outstanding results at the state level. Among the Top Ten state ranks, students secured 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 10th ranks, along with another 32 students securing excellent ranks in the PG Entrance examination.
Recognising this remarkable achievement, Padala Thirupathi was felicitated by the TGCGTA State President, Karimnagar District TGCGTA President Mamidipalli Satya Prakash, Secretary Gopu Srinivas Reddy, Prof. Tirukovela Srinivas, Head of the Department of Botany and Controller of Examinations, SRR Government Arts and Science College, Tandra Karunakar, Additional Controller of Examinations, and Edella Narayana, Karimnagar District President of the Government Degree College Contract Lecturers’ Association, along with other faculty members.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Thirupathi, Convener of the Free Online Coaching Programme, said that the outstanding results were possible because of the valuable guidance, encouragement and suggestions of the TGCGTA State President. He stated that for the past six years, various academic and student-support programmes have been conducted continuously under the TGCGTA banner with the active involvement of primary members, Botany faculty and other lecturers, along with the support of RBVRR Women’s College, Hyderabad.
Mr Thirupathi explained that the free online coaching programme has been particularly beneficial to students studying in remote villages and those belonging to various Government Degree Colleges, Gurukula Colleges and Autonomous Colleges, as well as students who completed their degree programmes through Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University. The guidance and academic support provided through the programme enabled students from diverse backgrounds to compete successfully at the state level and secure top ranks.
He expressed his gratitude to the TGCGTA leadership, participating faculty members and resource persons for their continuous support and cooperation in making the free online coaching programme a great success.
On the occasion, the TGCGTA State President was also felicitated by  Padala Thirupathi, Mamidipalli Satya Prakash, Gopu Srinivas Reddy, Prof. Tirukovela Srinivas, Tandra Karunakar, Edella Narayana and other faculty members, in recognition of his leadership, encouragement and support for the academic development of students.
