The University of Mumbai has extended the registration deadline for admissions to its undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and four-year honours programmes for the 2026–27 academic session.
Candidates can now complete the admission process until August 12, 2026, through the university’s online admission portals. The extension gives applicants additional time to complete their registration formalities.
The university has advised candidates to complete the process well before the revised deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues. Applicants are also required to ensure that all personal and academic details entered in the application form are accurate and that supporting documents are uploaded in the prescribed format.
Admission portals
Candidates must use the designated online portals corresponding to their chosen programme. Undergraduate applicants can register through the UG admission portal, while those applying for postgraduate and fourth-year honours with research programmes must use the Samarth portal.
