
The benchmark scores for 2026 of the Air Defense – Air Force Academy are as follows:

In 2026, 23 military schools/facilities recruited a total of 5,420 university and college quotas for the military system, an increase of more than 1,000 compared to 2025 and the highest level in about 5 years.
In which, the Air Defense – Air Force Academy enrolls a total of 350 targets for the Air Defense, Air Force and Electronic Warfare Command and Staff majors, an increase of 103 targets compared to 247 targets in 2025.
The academy only recruits male candidates.

This year’s military school block uses 4 enrollment methods: direct admission and priority admission; considering the capacity assessment results of Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City National University; considering the results of the QDA exam of the Ministry of National Defense; and considering high school graduation exam scores.
Military system candidates must pass preliminary selection, meet the standards according to regulations and meet the requirements for nguyện vọng 1.
2026 is the first year the Ministry of National Defense organizes the QDA competency assessment exam. The exam takes place on June 19-21 with 6 sessions in three areas: the North chaired by the Military Technical Academy, the Central region at the Information Officer School (Khanh Hoa), the South at Army Officer School 2 (Dong Nai). The exam consists of three parts: Mathematics and data processing; Literature – Language; Science or English.
