DU opens correction window for one-year PG admissions 2026-27; candidates can edit applications till tonight


The University of Delhi has opened the correction window for admissions to its one-year postgraduate (PG) programmes for the 2026-27 academic session. Candidates who have completed both Phase I and Phase II of the admission process can make necessary corrections to their application forms until 11.59 pm on August 1, 2026.

Alongside the correction facility, the university has also released a revised seat matrix for the one-year PG programmes, providing updated category-wise seat availability across courses.

Who can edit their application?

Only applicants who have successfully completed both Phase I and Phase II registrations are eligible to use the correction window. Candidates can log in to the Delhi University Admission Portal and update details before the deadline.

What can be edited?

Applicants are allowed to modify:

  • Personal profile details
  • Academic information

Candidates are advised to carefully review all entries before submitting the corrected application, as no further opportunity for edits is expected after the correction window closes.

Revised seat matrix released

The university has also published a revised seat matrix for its one-year postgraduate programmes. Among the most sought-after courses, MA English, MA Political Science, MCom, MSc Computer Science, and MSc Mathematics each have 49 seats under the unreserved (UR) category, in addition to seats reserved for OBC (NCL), SC, ST, EWS, and PwBD candidates as per the reservation policy.

How to make corrections

Candidates can follow these steps:

1.     Visit the Delhi University Admission Portal, admission.uod.ac.in.  

2.     Log in using your registered credentials.

3.     Open the application dashboard.

4.     Edit the permitted personal or academic details.

5.     Review all changes carefully.

6.     Submit the corrected application.

Applicants are advised not to wait until the final hours to make corrections, as heavy traffic on the portal may lead to delays.
