Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University (HNBGU) has initiated the admission process for undergraduate programmes for the academic session 2026-27. This is available for candidates who appeared in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2026, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
According to the university officials, candidates wishing to apply for undergraduate programmes, including Integrated MBA, BA LLB, Diploma in Folk Dance and Diploma in Folk Music, offered at the university campuses and affiliated colleges/institutes, must register on the SAMARTH Portal. The registration period is from July 12 (starting at 1 PM) to July 21 (up to 11:55 PM). The registration link is https://hnbgucuet.samarth.edu.in
The officials also provided some important instructions, which include that before applying for admission to any programme in an affiliated college/institute through the SAMARTH Admission Portal, candidates should visit their respective college/institute’s website or contact the appropriate office to verify the programme’s availability and eligibility criteria. Additionally, candidates should carefully complete the online application form, upload all required documents and submit the registration fee within the specified timeframe.
This aside, the candidates should regularly check the university website and the SAMARTH Portal for any updates related to admissions, the officials said.
