From today, August 4th, universities begin the admission process and virtual filtering. After 6 rounds of application processing, the expected benchmark scores will be announced from the evening of August 9th.

According to the 2026 university and college admission guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Training, from today, August 4th to 5pm on August 9th, training institutions will consider admission according to the aspirations registered by candidates, and process data on the System to determine the highest aspiration that each candidate meets the admission conditions.
After completing 6 rounds of processing aspirations and virtual filtering, training institutions will enter the admission score and admission results into the common system.
Training institutions will announce the benchmark score results and list of admitted candidates in the first phase before 5 pm on August 13.
All admitted candidates, including direct admission, must confirm enrollment on the System (if they wish to study) before 5:00 PM on August 21.
The Ministry of Education and Training requests training institutions not to require candidates to confirm enrollment or complete enrollment procedures before August 13; and at the same time not to end enrollment confirmation or enrollment before 5 pm on August 21.
For high school graduates in 2026, the conditions for registering for university admission in all methods are to have a total score of 3 subjects according to the admission combination (or Math, Literature and another subject) reaching at least 15 on a 30-point scale, excluding priority points and bonus points; not applicable to students who are specially considered for high school graduation.
In the 2026 university entrance exam season, candidates can register a maximum of 15 admission aspirations instead of being unlimited as in previous years. Teacher training institutions only consider admission aspirations from 1 to 5; schools in the National Defense and Police sectors implement according to the regulations of the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security.
All admission aspirations of candidates to training institutions will be processed on the System and each candidate will only be admitted to 1 highest aspiration among the registered aspirations when ensuring admission conditions.
