The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has opened the online registration window for undergraduate admissions for the 2026-27 academic session. Candidates who appeared for CUET UG 2026, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), can apply through the university’s official admission portal.
As per the notification issued by the Central Admission Committee (CAC), BHU, the registration process began on July 9, 2026. The deadline to submit the application form is July 25, 2026, up to 11.59 pm. Only candidates who appeared for CUET UG 2026 are eligible to participate in the BHU undergraduate admission process. The university will consider applicants’ CUET UG scores for seat allotment across different undergraduate programmes.
BHU Courses
BHU offers several undergraduate programmes, including Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Commerce, language courses, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, Law and other UG courses. The university will release separate seat allotments for programmes requiring practical examinations, such as Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and Bachelor of Visual Arts (BVA).
Document Required
BHU has shifted the document verification process to online mode. Candidates will have to upload their academic and supporting documents through the BHU Samarth Portal, after which the university will verify their eligibility before confirming admission. Applicants are advised to keep all required documents ready before starting the registration process, including the CUET UG 2026 scorecard, Class X marksheet or certificate, Class XII marksheet or certificate, category certificate, if applicable, PwD certificate, if applicable, and any other documents required by the university.
