The admission deadline for the July 2026 academic session has been extended to July 31 by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Students have more time to fill out the application for the same via the official website.Â
As per the latest announcement by the university, candidates seeking admission to Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes must complete their registration through the official ODL admission portal.Â
A wide range of undergraduate programmes is available for the July 2026 session at IGNOU. Some of the undergraduate programmes include Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Bachelor of Social Work (BSW).
Talking about the postgraduate level, students can go for MBA, MA in many specialisations, MCA and M.Com. Along with the degree programs, the university also offers other programs in diplomas, advanced certificates, and certificates.Â
There are several areas in which these programs can be undertaken, such as information technology, management, languages, and environment, among others.
IGNOU has also published the practical exam datesheet for eligible learners. Students enrolled in those programs must check the schedule and report to the allotted exam centres as per that.Â
