Kerala University Seat Allotment Process 2026
Trial Allotment: Following the completion of registration, a trial allotment will be released in the candidate’s profile, providing an estimation of their chances of securing admission to a particular programme at a specific college. The Kerala University trial allotment is based on the options chosen by the candidate, and they are allowed to make changes before the first allotment. However, please note that the trial allotment does not guarantee admission.
First Allotment: After the trial allotment and the period allocated for revising options, the Kerala University first allotment will be published on the official website. Candidates can view their allotment details in the “Allotment” section of their profile. Those who are allotted a seat must pay the university fees in order to secure their spot. Failure to do so within the given time frame will result in the candidate being excluded from further allotments. The candidates must adhere to the university’s notification regarding the admission date at the respective college.
Fee to be paid to the university on allotment: Upon Kerala University allotment, candidates must pay the university admission fee online at the “Allotment” page of their valid applicant homepage on keralauniversity.ac.in. A printed receipt must be kept and submitted to the college upon admission. Failure to present the payment receipt will result in denial of admission. A copy of the receipt should be retained for future allotments.
Cancellation/Activation of options after the first allotment: Candidates who submit the fee within the given time after the initial allotment will be given the opportunity to either cancel or activate their higher options before the second allotment. This period will be announced and specified.
Second Allotment and Remittance of Fee: The second list of allotments has been released on its official website. Any candidate who receives an allotment at any point will be required to pay the designated fee for the assigned course.
Downloading Allotment Memo: Once the Kerala University second allotment has been completed, candidates will be able to access their homepage by entering their application number and password. From there, they can download the Kerala University allotment memo. It should be noted that the Kerala University allotment memo is only available for candidates who have paid the university admission fee. By clicking on the “Allotment” link, candidates can view their allotment details and download the memo, which must be presented to the principal during the admission process. The memo will contain the candidate’s personal information, the assigned college, the program they have been allotted to, and the date they must report to the college for admission.
